Olsen’s Foam Front End Loader Caddis

The Front End Loader Caddis has been one of my most popular and effective dry flies for several years now. Over this past winter I decided to play around with a couple of material substitutions and additions to add a bit more buoyancy and durability to the fly. When the fly suspended nymphs well and even convinced trout to rise in the middle of January, I knew I had a winner on my hands, and it is now one of my favorite flies in the box for dry dropper rigs.
